Swissotel is a five-star hotel in the middle of Sydney’s prime tourist, shopping and dining districts. The most impressive element of this project was that the hotel was operating close to total capacity throughout the project and maintained a high occupancy level.

Foredeck was engaged by M&L Hospitality to complete a multi-million-dollar refurbishment of Swissotel designed by Bates Smart over two stages over seven months. The refurbishment included:
- Level 8 Lobby and bar area
- bathrooms
- Reception area
- Pre-function and Function rooms
- Level 9 Executive Lounge
- Level 10 gym
- Level 10 pool area
Level 8 scope of works included the complete refurbishment of the outdated bar area and lobby area. This transformation involved floor-to-ceiling archways, a green calacutta marble bar and all-natural Thasos stone flooring.
Level 10 scope of works included the complete refurbishment of the rooftop pool and external areas. The scopes involved re-waterproofing and mosaic tiling to the pool, new blackbutt timber decking surrounds, custom cabanas, sandstone cladding and landscaping.
